William Bolla is a 1969 graduate of Penn State and received his law degree in 1972 from the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University. He began practicing in Bucks County as an Assistant District Attorney, serving in that capacity for three years. During that time he litigated all types of criminal cases, including homicide; he managed and administered the indicting grand jury; and he coordinated and administered the criminal trial list.
Mr. Bolla has earned the coveted AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell Legal Directories. This is the highest professional designation available from that agency, which rates all practicing lawyers. Bill concentrates his practice in the area of real estate, land use and zoning law; business law; and family law. He presently serves as Solicitor to the Zoning Hearing Boards of five different municipalities namely Warwick Township, New Hope Borough, Doylestown Township, Bedminster Township and Upper Makefield Township. He has also counseled several Bucks County municipalities in specific areas involving public employees, land use and police issues.
His land use and real estate experience includes representation of buyers and sellers of real estate, real estate developers, citizen groups, and five zoning hearing boards.
In addition to his practice, Bill is active as a volunteer in many charitable organizations, community and civil groups. In addition to serving as President of the Bucks County Bar Association, where he managed and directed that Association's staff and programs and the needs of 700 members, he has served as President of the American Cancer Society and is the founder of the Bucks County Challenger Division, a little league baseball program that provides the opportunity to play that sport to the handicapped and the special needs children who reside in Bucks County. In 2001, Bill received the advocacy award from A Woman's Place, Bucks County's abuse shelter, for his 25 years of volunteer service to that agency.
